Attendees to IEA2021 must treat one another with dignity and respect.
Our goal in hosting the IEA2021 Virtual Congress is to build a stronger community and to create an environment where everyone feels welcome to participate, speak up, ask questions, and engage in conversation. We invite all delegates to help us create a safe and positive environment that facilitates open exchange and mutual support.
IEA2021 is committed to providing an inclusive environment that recognizes the inherent worth of every participant and is free of harassment, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religious affiliation. We do not tolerate harassment of Congress participants or staff in any form, including verbal abuse, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
Delegates to IEA2021 must respect copyright and privacy rules.
- Authors and presenters retain copyright of their material, including Proceedings chapters, extended abstracts and presentations. Authors who have submitted Proceedings chapter are bound by their signed Consent to Publish agreement with Springer. Session recordings and handouts are for delegate use only and may not be shared or used for commercial purposes.
- Do not post or share any confidential data, intellectual property or other material owned or protected by copyright without the permission of the owner. Any recording, filming, photography, screenshots or other capturing of presentations, live sessions, or other events, including e-posters, without expressed, written consent of the owner is prohibited.
- All participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator and any IEA2021 virtual event staff.
- Participants should not copy or take screen shots of any Q&A or any chat room activity that takes place in the virtual space.
IEA2021 reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the meeting without warning or refund, in response to any infraction of the above code of conduct.
Delegates are requested to report incidents of copyright infringement or unacceptable behavior via email to so that the appropriate action can be taken.
